Even though customs decided not to let our lovely Shelley into the country. We still were able to have a bit of musical fun with Yan Yalego.

Saltprint updates

Too bad that the camera couldn't catch them properly. They're all saltprints mounted on brown plexiglass. Everything was done on a home with a Rolleiflex on b/w 120 film, as was the development (hurray for a square meter toilet).

CBG

Since school decided to postpone for another week, I took my chances and built me a CigarBox Guitar... It's a 3-stringer made from a cigarbox (no shit!), old tuner with odd buttons (from an old Solina organ's controlpanel), a lock, a piezo, small bits of wood, and garden fence pole and a potmeter (also from the Solina)... so hurray, hurray, the first instrument I can hook up to an amp.

Why so happy? Well... it's the first one that doesn't look nor sound like crapule.

Saltprints No.2

After dangerous attempts to capture some images on paper finally the heroic attempts have turned out into efforts.

Shot them with a Kiev88 (Thanks Crispijn), next time one will try to post them framed, and in an even more distant future shot with an FDK (HURRY UP CUSTOMS(#)UQTO).

More work needs to be done

Guess I have to start learning how to play banjolin.
